Hootsuite is your social media dashboard! Instead of logging in and updating Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook business pages, Myspace, Foursquare, and Ping.fm Hootsuite will do the work for you.

You setup your social networks within the Hootsuite dashboard and it will allow you to post to 1, 2, or all of your networks while keeping track of what your customers and friends are doing. They offer a free version that allows you to have 5 social networks at once, which is more than enough for the small business user. HootSuite helps organizations use the social web to launch marketing campaigns, identify and grow audience, and distribute targeted messages across multiple channels.

The Hootlet, is what gives Hootsuite its power, it adds a small owl icon to Chrome or Firefox and lets you share webpages quickly with the click of the owl. The Hootlet will then automatically take the title of the blog, webpage or content and paste it into the broadcast area and shorten the link for you as well. After you have checked it out you can publish it to your social networks or schedule to post at a later time.
